Pathway to Hope
Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Pathway to Hope Community Forum—a private space created exclusively for paid members of the Pathway to Hope. This is a place for connection, healing, and encouragement as we walk this journey together.

To help keep this community safe and meaningful for everyone, please review and honor the following guidelines:

đź’› Safety First

This forum exists to be a safe space—above all else. Many of us carry deep wounds, and safety is often more healing than information. We ask that members focus on sharing their own stories and experiences rather than giving advice or trying to “fix” others.

This is a place where all are welcome—whether you’ve walked away from faith, are rebuilding your relationship with God, or are unsure what you believe. Because many in this community have experienced religious abuse, we ask that you be mindful with language that may sound authoritative or like a teaching. Kindness and gentleness go a long way.

🤝 Community Care

Disagree with care. Healthy disagreement is a part of real relationship—but in abusive environments, it’s often not allowed. Here, we aim to learn how to do it differently—with curiosity, respect, and vulnerability.

Speak from your own experience. Listen with empathy and humility.

No Soliciting or Self-Promotion

Please do not promote your own programs, services, or products in the community or privately message members with offers. If someone directly asks for your information, you are welcome to share it privately.

You are welcome to share your gifts and talents in the Creative Expression section of the forum.

đź›  Admin Rights

To protect the integrity and safety of the space, administrators reserve the right to remove posts or comments—and in some cases, remove access—if there is suspected manipulation, defamation, or persuasion of others.

đź’¬ Participation

We encourage you to participate in whatever way feels safe for you. You can:

Offer support and feedback when someone shares.

Express yourself honestly in a post.

Use the space for creativity, reflection, and connection.

Let this be a space of mutual support, kindness, and healing.
